The ACE Afterschool Program will be open after school from 3:15pm to 6:00pm during regular school days. Students participating in the program will receive academic support such homework help, tutoring, and enrichment learning. Students will also be introduced to different clubs like Sports, STEAM, Cooking, and many more.

About the Texas ACE program coordinator: My name is Ms. Jazmin Sanchez and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Coordinator for Texas ACE (Afterschool Centers on Education) at Bill Childress Elementary School. I am passionate about enriching students' lives through education and creativity. Our site's mission is to provide a nurturing, safe and inspiring environment where every child can flourish academically, creatively and socially. Announcements: During this fall semester, Harry Potter literature will influence our future activities. Students will explore mixed media in their daily activities for October and use their imagination to build sculptures, science experiments, learn about agriculture and math challenges. On October 26, 2023, ACE parents and our campus community will be invited to join us at a Lights on Family event.
